Perpetual Novena in Honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe
Leader: In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
All: Amen
Leader and People: Our Lady of Guadalupe, I venerate you as the Virgin Mother of the only true God, Creator of heaven and earth. In humility I kneel before your most holy image which you imprinted upon the tilma of St. Juan Diego. Dearest Lady, fruitful Mother of holiness, teach me your ways of gentleness and strength. Hear my humble prayer offered with heartfelt confidence and show me how to obey your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, so that my life may be an expression of faith, hope and love. Obtain for me a lively faith to do your Son’s holy will during my life on earth so that I may join you and all the angels and saints in glorifying our God forever in heaven. Amen.
Our Lady of Guadalupe, protectress of the most vulnerable among us, give me the courage to defend the sanctity of human life in all its forms so that our world will see every life, from conception until natural death, as an expression of God’s love. May the unborn and pre-born be protected by your maternal mantle of love so that they may be given the gift of life to grow strong and true in your Son’s image. Help me to love and honor our elderly brothers and sisters often burdened by sickness, loneliness or anxiety in the twilight of their lives. May my love for them assure them of Your loving protection. Amen.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of vocations, give to our Church in the Americas holy and dedicated vocations to bring us the sacramental Body and Blood of Your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, the source and summit of our Catholic Christian faith. May Your priestly sons who are burdened know the loving support and encouragement of those whom they serve in Your Son’s Holy Name. Grant to all consecrated religious the vitality to serve our church with lively faith and profound joy in imitation of your “yes” to do God’s will. Amen.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, protectress of our families, guide Catholic Christian parents so that they will form their children to know, love and serve God in this life in order to be with Him for all eternity. Assist, with your maternal love, all families who are in difficulty and who struggle to love one another with the same love of the Holy Family of Nazareth. Remember, Oh most gracious Virgin Mother, those parents who have suffered the loss of a child
so that they may look forward to that day when they will be reunited with them. Amen.
